Keep your guests on the dance floor at your event

It doesn’t matter how large or small your event may be – you will definitely want to make sure everyone feels great and creates wonderful memories. So, naturally, you will also want everyone to have lots of fun on the dance floor too – but how do you actually keep your guests on the dance floor at your event?

Here are some tips to consider:

·       Make sure there’s plenty of space. The last thing you want is a bunch of guests cramming into each other, with not enough room for actual dancing. At the same time, be aware of the fact that leaving too much space can make the dance floor feel empty and cold, which will automatically make it “less inviting” for the guests.

·       Furthermore, remember to time your music right. Don’t push your guests into dancing, and especially not in the first part of the event, when most people are just grabbing a bite and maybe one or two drinks. Leave them enough time and gradually increase the intensity of your music.

·       Be there with them. As a host, you will lead the way – so many guests will just follow in your lead when you’re on the dance floor. Be there, have fun, dance and be polite and nice with everyone – it can make the world of a difference!

·       Hire a live band.  Live bands feel more real, warmer and more inviting – which is precisely why many people prefer them over DJs. Hire a live band for your event too, and it will definitely attract more people to the dance floor.
