Skipping on Music Before the Ceremony

The average wedding guest will arrive at the ceremony 20-30 minutes before it begins. With this in mind, they may be sitting and waiting in complete silence for 30 minutes before your wedding. Book your ceremony musicians for approximately 45 minutes before the ceremony starts. This way your guests can enjoy elegant music while they wait for the festivities to begin.

Not Working With the Church

If you are one of the many couples that is getting married in a church, then you will want to make sure that you talk with the church and your officiant about what they believe is appropriate music. Many churches and synagogues actually have rules in place regarding what type of music can be placed. Typically, the only issues couples have is with certain secular music. You don’t want to offend your officiant or the place you are holding your wedding, so make sure you meet before hand.

Long First Dances
