Even if you are the cutest couple in the world, an obnoxious label or a tight polka dot pattern will make the photos more about these elements than about you – and you don’t want that, right? Stick to simple patterns, if any, or small elements that won’t overtake the photo.
· Clothes that are way too casual. You don’t have to wear an evening gown or a tuxedo if you don’t want to (especially since the engagement photos should match the formality of the location where they are shot). However, wearing clothes that are much too casual will not look great – so try to find a good balance between “elegant” and “casual”.
