Founded by University of St. Thomas alumni Luis and Gwen Juarez, Accent was born from a vision to create a band capable of performing a diverse range of music at the highest caliber. Since graduating in 1984 and gaining experience with various local groups, Luis has continuously infused the band with passion and creativity. Accent's repertoire spans a remarkable array of genres, including Pop, Rock, R&B, Motown, Oldies, Country, Top 40 hits, Jazz, Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Tejano, and Boleros.
