From Houston, Texas comes the classic sounds of The Route 66 Band. The Route 66 Band is popular not only because of its great sound, great vocals and complex harmonies, but also because of its wide variety of music, providing something for everyone. Although primarily known for its dance music, Motown, and classic rock, the band also provides something for everyone including pop, R & B, 70s, 80’s, current hits, country, standards or dinner jazz.

Playing music is what I do for a living, and although I enjoy my work, I also take it very seriously. The band at a wedding reception or other event can have a big impact on how the evening goes. As veterans of thousands of performances, our band has been instrumental in bringing a great time to many satisfied clients. We feel confident that we can make your event a success as well. Typically, most wedding receptions require two distinctly different bands---starting with a quiet ensemble playing background music allowing guests time to mingle & to reminisce with the bride & groom.

Since their beginning in 1991, The Grooves have become a favorite of Texas bands, performing all styles of music to rave audiences in Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and across Texas. The Grooves' show is an exciting combination of classic rock, Motown, oldies, disco, rock and roll, country, standards, swing, eighties dance, plus all the most up to date dance music.

The Mambo Jazz Kings are an extremely talented 11 piece R&B Soul Band, with the looks of Earth Wind and Fire,
the driving horns of Tower Of Power, the excitement of Beyonce, the sweet and sexy tenderness of Luther Vandross,
the flash of Cameo, and the home grown funk of James Brown. It's been said that they are truly a joy to dance and listen too,
and a visual explosion to watch. Make it a point not to miss this exciting group.

The Allen Oldies Band is an outfit dedicated to living and playing the dance wonders of the Fifties and Sixties Hit Parade. Songs from an age when soda jerks were employable, letter jackets were not an option for the chess team, and Cadillacs had eight cylinders. A full-flavored band, The Allen Oldies Band covers all the bases, from Tommy Roe to Petula Clark, with more appeal than the best chocolate malt in town.

The Pictures Band is located in Austin, Texas that specializes in variety of cover songs starting from the 50’s up to the 90’s, plus the Top 40, Disco songs, funk and country songs.

What's in a name? In this case, an impressive history of performing experience, balanced with creativity and expertise in playing a broad spectrum of Texas music styles. The Grateful Geezers were formed to utilize our combined experience and unique abilities to render faithful renditions of blues, R&B, Rock and Jazz tunes that we all love. The difference with the Geezers is that we have all made a living playing this music in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's. In short, we are seasoned professionals who have spend most of our livesbacking up others.
